  2. The 49/51 principle is something I have found works much more effectively when you can get creative with people and put yourself in their shoes. Business owner mindset. Thanks Gary, your principles has brought me to the point where I see the challenge more in the 51% then the business I am trying to grow for self.

  3. One rat study but – not a fan of the hour+ past conferences. I think people will listen to your podcast or your other YouTube channel if they want to see it. Same thing with this complete scene of a meeting taking over the entire episode. Feel like I'm being tricked. I personally watch dailyvees to see your daily life – which is more fast pace, more music and fancy edits that keep you engaged. As a avid gve podcast listener as well, that's where I go to watch these. Less entertaining as a video clip. Just my two cents..

  4. BIG FAN, but can't stand this new DailyVee concept. "DaiilyVee" is now gone, and interviews, fireside chats, talks, etc. are just being labeled "DAILYVEE". Big fan of the old , actual DailyVee.

  6. Holy shit, yes yes yes and yes. I could not agree more. This is probably one of the most impactful/knowledge-dense videos I've had the opportunity to watch. Gary V you are the fucking man.

  7. Asians do their homework and trained to not speak up unless there is certainty this can be a problem but its also a strength. Thats why the interview was so good. He did is homework and he didnt want to waste Gary's time by asking questions everyone knows already. Its a trait Americans arent trained to do, America is more of a speak before you think culture, less introspective and more expressive. Just my perspective from an American that has/is living in Asia.

  8. Dear Gary, thanks from Germany for your daily inspiration! I‘m spreading your words and spirit here in the german entrepreneurial world. The universe may bless you. And I do! Thank you so much!!!

  9. Hey Gary, LOVED this episode! I very much appreciate the fact that you continue to grind in the dirt. It’s extremely inspiring. I’m not sure if you are back in the states yet, but if you are still touring Asia, pretty please, do us a favor and order a whiskey/bourbon “on the rocks,” instead of a glass of wine. I’d love to get your perspective of how quality ice and our native spirit translates to my future VaynerX company (fingers crossed), Kentucky Straight Ice. https://www.instagram.com/kystraightice/?hl=en

  10. Nobody give a shit about long term profits. And that's profits on reflected more than just in your financials. You can't have a successful sustainable business and think short term.

  11. Coming to Asia is great, two months ago I moved from Germany to Singapore for the exact reasons you stated! Intriguing culture, and so many new things to learn that we in Europe just ignore. Great interview, both of you

  12. My question is why he doesn't have a Billion? I really believe he will one day… GV is a perfect case study in how to have a huge personality and total humility at the same time… so impressed by this guy.

  13. Hey @garyvee nice video and good to see you taking on Asia. Just wondering why the head office in Singapore. I have lived and worked a lot in Asia past 15 years and now am Head Of Brand & Marketing for a Fortune 500. We had our APAC head office in Singapore but due to the new employment legal issues and high costs we have set up in Bangkok. Singapore is the obvious choice but not necessarily the best for APAC. Just want to be helpful feel free to call. Richard

  14. The death star of marketing aka the Vayner X infrastructure.

Can't wait to see which publisher is next after PureWow.

My thoughts on giving back to Gary: become successful yourself without shortcuts and with good intent and send him an email.

  15. RESPECT Gary!! I know you don't crave it but you deserve it.
Coming to my question — Now that you are in asia you're ofcourse focusing mostly on China, Japan and other big time business players (countries) in asian region. What are your thoughts on expanding your business in India as it still is a developing market but does beats most countries after all, so what do you have to say about India and what approach is right for a business in India.
