I’m interested in attention. And it just so happens that social media is where attention is at today.

In this keynote I gave in Phoenix, I talk about why attention matters no matter what your ambition is … and how to capture it in 2019.

  2. Gary Im 58, raised my kids (on my own), taught a generation of kids to read – who would not have learned to read had I not intervened – and Im her now wanting to plug my content – Watercolors /painting from my 40 year undercover practice. Im watching you because I have been instructed by my son "watch Gary vee marketing!!!" thank you you re cool. I learned to draw, I learned to paint, I learned to teach, I learned to make it on next to nothing and by God I will learn how to use social media. – "No body owes you shit" I think you stole that from me.
    Thanks Bernadette

  3. This is amazing advice, just do it! Your advice relating to instagram has been amazing help, I started using Igrocket Com and have nearly doubled my leads through my insta page. You are the best when it comes to social media, love Brandy!

  4. Holy hell, dude I was just talking about this last week. Had a problem with this forever so what I did to get over it was just post my heart out on every single point I'm self conscious about.

I expected to get laughed at and was read to deal with that….but the majority of people are overwhelmingly supportive to legit honesty. And those are the ones who matter, not the haters who have nothing better to do than tear people down.

  5. Insecurity is one of the biggest setbacks in any success journey. This talk definately nailed it! I'm starting to take more action and adding valuable content on my social media channels. Thanks for the inspiration and for being so down to earth.

  6. There are two types of people in this world. Those who want shit sugarcoated and those like me who get motivated and inspired by the “RAW” truth. You literally helped me overcome ALL my fears in one video. I feel like I can fly. Something just clicked in my head. It’s DONE. I can’t thank you enough.

  7. Gary Vee….you are so real….I love it….A little about me. I died….revived to a coma for 17 days. I lost an arm… there is alot more i could say but in the end I am trying to create a YouTube channel to help the disabled. I got my personal trainer certification because its always been a passion. It started out as killing time, but I get alot of compliments telling me I'm inspirational. That is why I made the channel, but I struggle with needing "perfection". Today I'm going to try to throw that out and DO! I have posted 1 video, and it has been a week. I started to make the second. Gave up because I got so stressed…I would love to meet you but I probably won't be privileged with that so I just hope you see this lol my name is Ben
    Instagram "Onearmwonder13"
    YouTube "Onearmwonder"
I really hope this gets to you…

  8. Before even watching the video I disagree on the title caption. Honestly it was burnout and because it wasn't a stream of income until I realized people will pay you to post on a platform that they don't understand but I do. So now, I'm going full throttle on building out portfolio for free to start charging more over time and build my six figure business.

  9. Kudos" that drives me crazy people tell you about how to grow your business and engage with others, but they don't engage with no one themselves, what a hypocrite.

  10. Wow, this is a goldmine as far as info. is concerned. I've been studying business for two years now and it's thanks to the clarity in these messages from talented folks who've been there and done that and are sharing with the world. Truly a brilliant mind and of course, nothing is easy, but you've got to just DO IT. With time you can always scale and make changes as you see fit. I like this idea and I think it's going to make me millions.

  11. An over-bearing and critical mother instilled in me from jump, that I couldn't…It's been all my life trying to overcome insecurity…but, I know that now so let me put it out there and get it done. "Learn to eliminate judgment." Create content, bring value, and negate the nay-sayers. I hear you loud and clear. Thank you, Gary.

  12. Conflicted about this message. I’m a photographer and I don’t always lug around my expensive camera with me. I have a day job. Am I just supposed to post photos that I’m not proud of?
